This article provides an overview of recommended settings and features that
Google Workspace administrators should enable to support compliance with
Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS). For a complete understanding of
additional functionalities needed to meet CJIS, consult the CJIS Security
Policy.
To support CJIS compliance, you must have a Google Workspace Enterprise
Plus edition, Assured Controls and
Assured Support.
Support compliance with CJIS
Set a data region
To set a new data region policy, follow the steps in Step 2: Set a data region
policy. Select the data
region option: United States.
Turn on Access Management
To enable Access Management, follow the steps in Set up Access
Management and select the
option: Access by CJIS-authorized and IRS 1075-authorized Google staff only.
