Accessibility settings unexpected behavior at sign in

Problem

You notice that accessibility settings are restored back to default at the sign in screen.

Environment

  • Managed ChromeOS devices

Solution

You must change the Accessibility Control policy, to do so follow the steps described below:
  1. Go to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Device.
  2. Set it to Allow user to control accessibility settings on the sign-in screen.

Cause

The Accessibility control policy reverts back to default the accessibility settings at the sign in screen
