Problem
How do you create a Content compliance rule so that messages that meet specific criteria follow the specified actions?
Environment
Solution
- Sign to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Compliance.
- Scroll to the Content compliance setting in the Compliance section and click Configure or Add Another Rule.
- For each new setting, enter a unique description.
- Check the boxes next to the messages you want the rule to apply to.
- From the list, specify whether any or all conditions must match to trigger what happens to the message.
- Click Add.
- Click Save. You might need to scroll to see the new expression.
- Specify whether to modify, reject, or quarantine a message when conditions are met.
- Configure the options for the action you choose.
- Click Show options to configure additional options to limit the application of this setting.
- Click Save.
