Allow administrators to recover an account


An administrator is unable to log in to the account and there is no option to recover it.

Account recovery settings for Super administrators in affected user OU is disabled.
  1. Sign in to the Admin console.
  2. Navigate to Security > Authentication > Account recovery.
  3. Search for affected user OU: domain > BID > Users > Staff > System Admins.
  4. Select Super admin account recovery.
  5. Check box Allow super admins to recover their account > Override.
  6. Verify if the administrator has the option Forgot password? They’ll get a verification code via text, phone, or email, and can follow instructions to reset their own password.
