Problem
An administrator is unable to log in to the account and there is no option to recover it.
Environment
- Admin console
Solution
Account recovery settings for Super administrators in affected user OU is disabled.
- Sign in to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Security > Authentication > Account recovery.
- Search for affected user OU: domain > BID > Users > Staff > System Admins.
- Select Super admin account recovery.
- Check box Allow super admins to recover their account > Override.
- Verify if the administrator has the option Forgot password? They will get a text verification cod through, phone, or email, and can follow instructions to reset their own password.
