Problem
You want to enter the asset ID and the location for a device after its zero touch enrollment.
Environment
Solution
- Your devices must have been set for zero touch enrollment by your device vendor.
- Log in to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Device.
- Select OU for your devices.
- Locate the policy called Asset identifier input after zero touch enrollment and set it to Allow.
Cause
This setting will not work if:
- Your device is running Chrome OS v109 or older.
- The policy was not applied to the OU where the device was pre-enrolled.
- The enrollment token has been revoked.
