Block JavaScript

Problem

Prevent students from using JavaScript to bypass Go Guardian.

You can block the JavaScript completely via Admin console policy.

In the Admin console.
Go to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Users & browsers.
Choose the organizational unit where the users are.
Search for the policy JavaScript.
You can set it to Do not allow any sites to run JavaScript.
Please note that this may affect the websites that you usually visit.
You may also add specific websites that are allowed to run JavaScript by adding them under Allow these sites to run JavaScript.
- That way even though the JavaScript is blocked for all websites, it will still run on your allowed websites.
Then click ‘Save' in the top right corner.
