Cannot add a work profile


How can you add work profile to an Android Device?


  • Android Device


If you have access to the Device, follow the steps listed below:
  1. Open the Android Device Policy App.
  2. Tap Unregister.
  3. Open the Settings app and tap Accounts.
  4. Add the work account again and set up the Android Device Policy.

If you do not have access to the Device, follow these steps instead:
  1. In your Admin console
  2. Go to Menu.
  3. Look for Device > Overview.
  4. Click Mobile devices.
  5. Search for the user's device. (For example, enter their email address in the search field).
  6. Click the device then Device security. If the value for Privilege is Profile owner, then the user has a work profile set up.
