Cannot enable Android apps on ChromeOS

Problem

You cannot find the Android applications on Chrome Devices policy.

Environment

  • Admin console

Solution

To enable the policy subscription
  1. Go to the Admin console.
  2. On the menu at the left click on Billing > Subscriptions.
  3. Click on Add or upgrade a subscription.
  4. Select Devices under categories.
  5. Click Get Started under Android management.
  6. Complete the checkout.


If you already enabled the subscription and yet the policy is not visible

  1. Go to the Admin console.
  2. On the menu at the left click on Billing > Subscriptions.
  3. Click on the Android management subscription.
  4. On the menu on the left, click on the option to Cancel the subscription.
  5. Complete the process for the cancellation.
  6. Once the cancellation is completed, please add the subscription again.
