ChromeOS user not reported

Problem

Running a ChromeOS device report some user logins might not be recorded. The device report shows the event CHROMEOS_UNAFFILIATED_LOGIN.

Environment

  • ChromeOS

Solution

Unaffiliated to the domain will NOT be recorded for privacy reasons.
Kiosk and guest sessions are not reported.
Email addresses for unmanaged users are not displayed. Instead, they display as User not managed by your organization.
