Control access to Google services by age

Problem

Users under EDU account are unable to access services like Google Cloud Platform, Google Analytics, Google Pay, Campaign Manager.

Environment

Solution

An administrator needs to specify if the users are over 18 years old in the Account settings on the Admin console page.
  1. Log in to the Admin console.
  2. Click Account settings > Age-based access settings.
  3. To apply the setting to everyone, leave the top organizational unit selected. Otherwise, select a child organizational unit or a configuration group.
  4. For Choose an appropriate age label, choose an option:
    • Some or all users are under 18 years of age
    • All users are 18 or older
  5. Click Save. If you configured an organizational unit or group, you might be able to either Inherit or Override a parent organizational unit, or Unset a group.

Cause

Users are underage.
