Create an event in a shared calendar


You have shared a calendar or a calendar has been shared to you, and you want to create an event in that calendar.


  • Google Calendar web interface


  1. Open Calendar.
  2. At the top-left, click Create or find the time in your Calendar and click on the time you need this event to happen. 
  3. Add a title and any event details.
  4. At the bottom, click on the calendar name next to the calendar icon.
  5. Next to the calendar name, click the drop-down arrow, and select the shared calendar from the list.
  6. Click Save to create the event.
