Devices still showing after deletion


Your deleted devices are still showing in the Admin console even after removing them.

Devices may still show up depending on their management set up and if how the accounts are logged into the devices. You must review if this happens due to the following causes:
  1. Devices could have multiple records if you login and logout on one device.
  2. It may also record multiple devices if you sign-in to multiple browsers in one device.
  3. A device might be listed more than once if it uses more than one management type. For example, you are using Endpoint and you add Drive for Desktop. 
  4. Under Fundamental endpoint, devices are automatically added on the next sync even though the user hasn't signed in.


Depending on the management type and number of signed in, devices may show up multiple times.
