Disable Cast for users in Chrome

Problem
You want to know how to stop or prevent the students from using the Cast feature on Chromebooks to avoid class interruption.
Environment
Solution
- Log in to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Users & browsers.
- Choose the Organizational Unit where the student is.
- Search for the ShowCastIconInToolbar policy and set it to Disable.
- Alternatively, network administrators can disable the mDNS service within the network itself but we advice against it.
Cause
The Cast policy is on by default that is why any users can use it.
