Enable SafeSites URL Filter for managed guest sessions

Problem

The customer needs an option similar to screen lock for managed guest sessions. Advised to use the idle settings as a walk-around.

Environment

Solution

  1. Log in to your Admin console.
  2. Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Managed guest sessions.
  3. Press Ctrl+F and type in safesites.
  4. Set the policy to filter top level sites for adult content.

Cause

There is no reason to lock the screen on a managed guest session since there will be no password to unlock it. The best option is to set the idle settings.
