Enrollment issue after repair


When trying to enroll a device you get the following message:
Error: This device cannot be enrolled to the organization your account belongs to because the device is marked for management by a different organization.

Issue has been investigated by engineering and it cannot be fixed from our side. You must contact your repair provider so the issue can be addressed by them.


The affected device will need to be RMA as it conflicts with an already existing device. The manufacturer during the RMA did not correctly reset the Chrome OS device firmware meaning that the device identifier matches a previously RMA'd device from a different customer.

Device was sent for repairs and cannot be enrolled on Admin console.
Device is listed as provisioned or deprovisioned on Admin console with correct serial number.
