Error "You don't have access to this service" when trying to access additional Google services without individual controls

Problem

When trying to access to a Google service that is not listed on the Additional services in the Admin console, you get the error: 
"You don't have access to this service error"

Environment

Solution

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin console. 
  2. Go to Menu > Apps > Additional Google Services.
  3. In the message at the top of the page, click Change.
  4. Turn on the service to the entire organization, or certain organizational units, as it is needed.
  5. Save the changes.

Cause

Additional services without individual control are blocked by default unless you manually allow them.
