Scenario 1
If you transfer ownership of files from User A to another user in the organization only the files and folders originally owned by user A will transfer ownership. The sub folder and files added to the subfolder added by another User B will retain ownership of this user.
Scenario 2
If User A stops sharing the folder with User B the ownership of the folder and files created by User B will be retained unless the owner transfers ownership of such folder and files.
