How to add a co-host to a scheduled meeting


How can you add a co-host to a meeting already scheduled as an event?


  • Google Calendar running in a web browser


Turn on Host Management and enter the new members.
  1. On your desktop browser, go to Google Calendar.
  2. Click the event or meeting you want to add a co-host to.
  3. From the pop-up menu, click Edit event.
    • If your event does not have a meeting attached, click Add Google Meet video conferencing.
  4. Click Video call options.
  5. In the pop-up menu, turn on Host Management.
  6. On the left, click on Guests.
  7. Under the Co-hosts section, enter the names of the participants you want to add as a co-host.
  8. Select their name from the drop-down.
  9. Click Save from within the pop-up menu.
  10. To save the Google Calendar event, click Save.
