How to allow list a domain in Google Classroom

Problem
Unable to add a user (teacher or student) from an external domain to Google Classroom.
Environment
- Google Workspace for Education
- Workspace for Nonprofits Workspace Basic
- Business Google Workspace for Education Plus
Solution
- Log in to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Menu > Apps.
- Choose an option. If your account is:
- Google Workspace for Education or Workspace for Nonprofits—Click Google Workspace > Classroom.
- Workspace Basic, Business, or Google Workspace for Education Plus—Click Additional Google Services > Classroom.
- Click Class settings.
- Next to View configured allowlisted domains, click Edit > Add new.
- Enter the full address of the domain and click Add Domain To Allowlist.
Note: Changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Cause
Student or teach is unable to join a class.
