How to automatically add video conferences to Calendar events


You enabled the Automatically add video conferencing to events users create setting in Google Workspace, however when you create an event it does not automatically generate a Google Meet link. 


  1. Go to Google Calendar.
  2. Click Create event and choose Event.
  3. Select More options and add your guests. 
  4. After adding a guest, a Google Meet link will be automatically generated.
  5. Hit the Save button at the top.


The Google Meet link will not be generated unless you add a guest.
