How to buy a domain after Squarespace purchase Google Domains registrations

Problem

Unable to register a new domain name on Google Domains.

Solution

  1. Google no longer offers new domain registrations, use Squarespace. On September 7, 2023, Squarespace acquired all domain registrations and related customer accounts from Google Domains. Customers and domains will be transitioned over the next few months. Please visit Squarespace for new domain registrations.

Cause
