How to check storage limit per user

Problem

You want to know how much storage each user is getting, and if any limits have been applied.

Environment

  • Google Workspace Business Standard
  • Business Plus
  • Enterprise Standard
  • Enterprise Plus

Solution

  1. In your Admin console .
  2. Go to Menu > Storage. Complete functionality requires Storage administrator privileges.
  3. In the Storage settings section, click Manage.
  4. If a storage limit has been applied to your users, then you will find User storage limit on. As this can be applied to Organizational Units and Groups, then you might need to click on each one of them to find out if any has a limit applied. In that section, you will find how much storage is being applied.
