How can you deprovision a Chrome OS device?
Environment
Solution
- Go to Devices > Chrome > Devices.
- Locate the serial number of the device.
- Click on the serial number, a menu will appear on the left.
- Click Deprovision.
- Specify whether devices automatically factory reset. Choose an option:
- Yes, factory reset to remove all data including user profiles, device policies, and enrollment data.
- No, keep existing data and user profiles.
Cause
Devices must be deprovisioned to be replaced or if it's no longer needed.
