How to disable login challenge security method permanently

Problem

How can you turn off the login challenge permanently?

Environment

  • Admin console
  • Security Authentication

Solution

This is working to product specification. Login challenges cannot be disabled permanently.

Workaround

  1. Go to My account.
  2. Under Signing in to Google, select 2-Step Verification > Get started.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to select a verification method and complete the enrollment.
    • After this setup, every time that you attempt to sign the account from an unusual device, network or location, you will be prompted to authenticate with the verification method that you have selected for 2-Step Verification.
