How to enable the "Justify business needs" option in the Investigation Tool

Problem

You cannot see the "Justify business needs" in the Investigation Tool.

Environment

  • Admin console 
  • Investigation Tool

Solution

  1. In your Google Admin console.
  2. On the left of the Home page, click on Security > Security center > Investigation tool.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Turn on or off Enable action justification, and for more information in this article.

Cause

This is due to another super admin disabled it before.
