How to get a device print jobs report

Problem

How can you get a list of print jobs sent by each device?

Environment

  • ChromeOS
  • Admin Console

Solution

 

  1. Turn on reporting. For details, see Report device print jobs.
  2. In the Admin console , go to Menu > Devices > Chrome > Reports >Printers.
  3. (Optional) On the left, select an organizational unit. By default, all print jobs are shown.
Note: It can take up to 24 hours for data to show up in reports. For details, see Known issues. 
Print job data is stored for 6 months.
 

Cause

By default, device print jobs are not reported. When you have turned on print reporting, only print jobs from affiliated managed users to managed printers are tracked.
