How to get a list of the devices using the API

Problem

How can you get a list of the devices managed by an organization?

Environment

  • Admin console
  • API managed devices

Solution

You can use the devices API, to get a list of managed devices by following the steps described below:

  1. Access your Admin console.
  2. Under Subscriptions click Manage subscriptions. 
  3. Click Add or upgrade a subscription at the top.
  4. Click Cloud identity under Categories and add either the free or premium subscription. Review Editions to compare both subscriptions.
  5. Once Cloud Identity has been added to your account. Follow  the steps described in Setting up the Devices API.
  6. And once the set up process and the creation of a service account has been completed, refer to Listing device users.
