How to join a Google Meet without asking to join

Problem
You are not able to join a Google Meet attached to a calendar event, without asking to join.
Environment
Solution
- In the Admin console, go to Menu > Apps > Google Workspace > Google Meet.
- Click Meet safety settings.
- To apply the setting to everyone, leave the top organizational unit selected. Otherwise, select a child organizational unit.
- Select the Quick access setting and set it up by default for any Meet created.
- Users within the domain who are trying to join, will be able to join without having to knock or ask to be let in.
Cause
Quick access setting was not enabled.
