How to Merge Multiple Google Calendars

Problem

Merge two Google Calendars.

Environment

  • Google Calendar

Solution

  1. Click on the settings gear icon in Google Calendar, and then select Settings.
  2. Under the General tab, click on Import and Export as seen below.
  3. Click on Export, and your calendar file will be downloaded locally to your computer.
  4. Extract the zip file that was just downloaded to your computer, to access the ICS file.
  5. Do this same process above for each Google Calendar that you want to merge.
  6. Now, at the top right of your Google Calendar, select the icon with your account photo and then select the Add Another Account option.
  7. On the new calendar, go to the settings wheel again and click on Import and Export.
  8. This time, you'll select Import. Upload all of the ICS calendar files that you had previously exported from other calendars.
