How to prevent Chrome settings from syncing in ChromeOS devices

Problem
Prevent users from getting Chrome OS settings sync from their account.
Environment
Solution
- From the Admin console.
- Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Users & browsers.
- Select the organizational unit to be affected.
- Look for the policy Chrome Sync (ChromeOS) and check the checkbox Settings. This should prevent Chrome OS settings to be synced from the account.
- This option could be used along with the User data policy under device settings.
