How to prevent message loss sent to former employees


How to redirect messages sent to a deleted former employee's email address to someone else with email aliases.


  • Admin console


  1. Open the Admin console.
  2. Go to Users.
  3. Click on the name (not the box next to it) of the desired new recipient.
  4. Expand the User Information section to the right.
  5. Click on Add Alternate Emails.
  6. Enter the former employee's email address.
  7. Click on Save.
