How to prevent users from changing password

Problem

How can you prevent users from changing their own password?

Environment

  • Admin console
  • Security/Authentication

Solution

Workaround
  1. Sign to the Admin console.
  2. Click on Security
  3. Click on SSO with third party IDP
  4. Click on SSO profile and change the Change password URL link there.
    • Note: You can add any valid URL. When users choose to change their own password, they will be redirected to the specified page.
