Problem
How to configure properly a Restrict delivery compliance rule, so the student's accounts can send and receive emails from specific domains and email addresses.
Environment
Admin console

Solution
Log in to the Admin console with a super admin account.
Navigate to Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Compliance.
Click on Configure next to Restrict delivery.
Add the approved senders list by clicking on Create a new one.
Make sure that if the sending side does not have proper authentication methods, to disable the Authentication required option.
Cause
If there are two Restrict delivery settings under the same OU it will not work properly as one overrides the other one. There are 24 hours of propagation for this setting to work.
