How to redirect emails sent for a specific user account to another account?


  • Gmail routing
  • Default routing


  1. From your  Admin console.
  2. Navigate to Menu > Apps > Google Workspace > Gmail > Default routing.
  3. Click on Configure or Add another rule.
  4. Under Specify envelope recipients to match, select Single recipient and enter the email address of the user that will have the emails routed to another account.
  5. Scroll down to Envelope recipient and check the box next to Change envelope recipient.
  6. Select Replace recipient and enter the email address of the account that will be receiving the redirected emails.
  7. Select Perform this action on non-recognized and recognized addresses.
  8. At the bottom, click Save.
