How to set an out of office response for Group

How can you set up out of office (OOO) response for a Group address?

Solution

This functionality is not supported
Workaround:
You can set up a forwarding rule to reject emails with a customized message for as long as you need it.
  1. Go to Apps and then Google Workspace.
  2. Click on Gmail and then on Default routing.
  3. Click on Configure to create the rule.
