How to set storage limits in the Admin console

Problem

User storage limit is less than their subscription offers.

Solution

Some editions have pooled storage and therefore, you have the option to set storage limits for your users.

Example: if you want members in an organizational unit called Marketing to have more storage, you can set an individual storage limit of 20 GB for all users in this specific organization unit. This storage limit will then override the base storage limit of 10 GB for members of this organizational unit to 20 GB.

Note: You can set storage limits for Organizational Units (OU's), groups or individual users as well.

To change the storage limits in the Admin console follow these steps:

  1. In the Admin console, go to Menu > Storage.
  2. In the Storage settings section, click Manage.

In that page you can select OU, group or enter the user email address manually so then you can change the storage limit.
