How to switch from Google Workspace for Education to a Google Workspace Business subscription

Problem

You would like to switch your Google Workspace account's subscription from Google Workspace for Education to a Google Workspace Business plan.

Environment

Solution

  1. Sign in to the Admin console.
  2. Navigate to Billing > Subscriptions.
  3. Click on your Google Workspace for Education subscription.
  4. Click on Cancel subscription to cancel your current subscription.
  5. Proceed to subscribe to a Google Workspace Business paid subscription.
  6. Navigate to Billing > Get more services in the Admin console.
  7. Select a Google Workspace Business subscription.

Cause

Your Google Workspace for Education free trial expired due to your application being rejected, and would like to switch to a paid subscription.
