How to transfer Drive files from one user to another

Problem
You want to transfer Drive items from one user to another within the organization.
Environment
Solution
- Log in to the Admin console.
- Navigate to Apps > Google Workspace > Drive and Docs > Transfer ownership.
- In the From user section, enter the current owner's email address and select the user from the results.
- For the To user, enter the new owner's email address and select the user from the results.
- Click Transfer Files.
