How to wipe user profile or factory reset a Chromebook

Problem
You want to reassign a device to a different user, and clear its data.
Environment
Solution
Log in to the Admin console . Go to Devices . Select Chrome > Devices . Filter the device you need and click on the serial number to access its details. You will find the options Wipe Profiles and Factory Reset select the option you require depending on your case.
Note : It is recommended that you perform this commands on devices connected to the internet and up and running, otherwise the system will keep this task until it is completed or time out.
Wipe Profiles will last 180 days. Factory Reset Device will last 5 years.
