Problem
Deployment Issue when using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Windows Deployment Services (WDS) boot image.
Environment
- Deploying Chrome OS Flex via SCCM or WDS and experience the following issues:
- Not booting into Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE)
- After boot receives a no disk found error
- Unable to establish network connection
Solution
- Not booting into WinPE.
- Make sure the proper boot image is set.
- Make sure the proper WinPE version is being used for the hardware being installed upon.
- After boot receives a no disk found error:
- Check to make sure the boot image includes the proper drivers.
- Unable to establish network connection.
- Check to make sure the boot image includes the proper drivers.
