Prevent access to Chrome and ChromeOS settings

The administrator wants to block access to Chrome and ChromeOS settings.

1. Login to the Admin console.
2. Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Users & browsers.
3. Select the organizational unit that the users who want to be prevented from accessing the settings are located,
4. Look for the Disabled system features settings and select the option to be disabled,
5. Save the changes.

While the users are not prevented from accessing the system feature by default, we recommend that you use this setting if you want to block camera, OS settings, and browser settings instead of using the URL blocking setting or blocking apps and extensions by ID.

Please keep in mind that blocking access to specific chrome:// URLs using the URLBlocklist policy might be circumvented, and is not supported.
