Restrict delivery rejection emails

Problem

You have problems with inbound emails from external emails being sent to student accounts under the same OU. The domain is in the approved list under the Restrict delivery yet the emails are still rejected.

Environment

  • Admin console
  • Gmail

Solution

The Approved senders list works only with the exact From email or domain address. As the one provided in the ELS report is not the From but the Return path email address which is not the same.
