"Service is not available" error when trying to access the Chrome Web Store Service using a managed account


You receive a service is not available error message when trying to access the Chrome Web Store using a managed account.

The Chrome Web Store has to be turned on for the OU where the affected user is located:
  1. Go to the Admin console and on the menu at the left click on Apps > Additional Google Services.
  2. Click on the Chrome Web Store service. 
  3. Click on the Service Status.
  4. Select the user OU.
  5. Turn on the service and save the changes. 


If the service is turned off, you cannot access the Chrome Web Store at all while syncing your managed account.
