Problem
Users may require to set up an Advanced managed mobile as Work only or to show it as Device owner in the devices list, without adding it to the Company-Owned inventory.
Environment
- Android devices with Advanced management
Solution
To do this, "Advanced management" should be enabled. Then the user needs to follow the instructions:
- Factory reset the device.
- Set up the work account on the initial settings.
- In the prompts, select Work only.
- Finish setting up the mobile.
Cause
Work only environment can only be set up from the initial settings.
