Set Default Printer


You need your users to have a default printer already selected for printing instead of having them selecting the printer they will use.


  • ChromeOS
  • Chrome browser


  1. Log in to the Admin console.
  2. Navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Users & Browsers > Managed guest sessions.
  3. Select the organizational unit you want to manage.
  4. Look for Print preview default.
  5. Set it to Define the default printer.
  6. Select the settings you need. If you use Match by name, you can type in the first word of the printer, as it shows in the print dialog.
    • If your printer shows as Brother HL-L2320D series (USB), type in Brother.
