Problem
You are unable to access a file that looks grayed out with a lock icon next to it.
Environment
Solution
- Select the file in Drive Web.
- In the Details pane, click Request access.
Cause
This is expected product behavior when a shortcut owner no longer has access to the target of the shortcut.
