Unable to add an email alias to yourself when you are a delegated admin with the User Management role

Problem

You are unable to add an email alias to yourself when you are a delegated admin with the User Management role, as the option is grayed out.

Environment

  • Admin console

Solution

You will need to contact a super admin or another delegated admin with the User Management role to add an email alias to yourself. 

Note: The privilege to add email aliases to yourself is reserved only to super admin accounts.

 

Cause

This is an expected behavior and can't be changed.
