Unable to add users during your trial period

Problem

When you try to add more users you get an error stating that you have no licenses remaining.

Environment

  • Admin console
  • User and Organizational Level Management

Solution

Start your paid subscription immediately by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the Admin console.
  2. Navigate to Billing > Subscriptions > [Your Google Workspace subscription].
  3. At the top, click on Start Paid Service.
    • Note: Doing this will forfeit the remaining duration of your free trial, only do this if you want to remove certain limits that apply to free trial accounts.

Cause

Google Workspace accounts on free trial are only limited to 10 users.
