Unable to add users from the Admin console


While setting up a new Google Workspace account and attempt to create more than 50 users, an error message appears:
You have reached the 50 user limit for Google Workspace [current edition]. Please contact support to change this.

To increase the maximum user capacity, it is necessary to process a payment in advance equal to 50% of the new total amount of users. To process a manual payment:
  1. Access your Google Admin console.
  2. At your left-hand, go to Billing > Payment accounts.
  3. Click the account ID for your subscription.
  4. Under Your balance, click Pay Early or Make a Payment.
  5. On the Make a payment screen, select or add your payment method:
    • To use the displayed payment method: Skip to step 7.
    • To use a different existing payment method: Next to the displayed payment method, click the Down arrow and then select a different method.
    • To add a new payment method: Next to the displayed payment method, click the Down arrow. Select the option to add a credit or debit card or a bank account (if available) and enter the required information.
  6. Specify how much you want to pay. There may be a minimum payment  required. 
  7. Click Make a payment.
  8. Make sure that the payment details are correct, then click Confirm > Got It.
  9. Once the payment has been made, contact Google Workspace Support to complete the process.
